With our products – cleaning is simple, the result is perfect.
Before you start, it is important to remember that silver is a noble metal (which does not rust and is traded on the World Metals Exchange) and has a natural shine.
silver metal, it oxidizes from the air and if over time the item
turns yellow and then blackens.
* It should be noted that silver metal will never become shiny again. No matter how long it has not been polished.

📦 Proper storage – to maintain shine over time:
It is recommended to display and store silverware in a closed display case. If the item is displayed in an open display case/shelf – it should be cleaned more frequently, and direct exposure to air conditioning or oily air (kitchen) should be avoided.
The more we reduce direct contact with open air, the less likely it is to oxidize.
💡 Instructions for use – This is how you will care for the items during cleaning: Use a soft rag, cotton towel or dry, lint-free cloth to prevent scratches.
Always work on a clean, dry, dust-free work surface.
Gloves are not required, but they may prevent fingerprints from being left on the silver.

✔ Silver is a “soft” metal, so be careful and do not apply force to the utensil when cleaning.
✔ Dishes that have accumulated grease or wax should be washed with boiling water to remove any oil or other dirt before brushing - do not try to scrape, as this may scratch the dish.
✔ With the dish that has many grooves, you can go over the dish with an old soft-bristled toothbrush
✔ Make sure that the work surface is clean and empty so that the dish does not receive blows and/or scratches from other objects
✔ Do not use scotch tape/ironing board or anything that can scratch and damage the dish There is no reason to use the miracle sponge
🧼 Cleaning silverware in the dishwasher - what is allowed, what is not allowed, and what is important to know
Many people ask - can silverware be washed in the dishwasher? The answer is yes, but with caution. Real silverware (pure 925 silver) can be washed in the dishwasher, but several important rules must be followed to prevent tarnishing, scratches and damage.
✅ Rules for washing silverware in the dishwasher:
Place the dishes separately, so that they do not rub against each other or other dishes during washing.
❌ What is not recommended: Do not put dishes with gold decorations (not the gold inside the kiddush cup) in the dishwasher - they may be damaged.
It is recommended not to leave the dishes in the dishwasher after the operation is finished - Dry them with a soft towel at the end of the wash to prevent drip marks.
🧽 Tip for perfect cleaning: Even after washing in the dishwasher, it is recommended to clean the dishes by hand every few months with a special silver cleaner to preserve the shine and remove fine layers of oxidation.

Cleaning silverware after use:
After using the utensil, clean it with soap and water (without scotch tape) Especially after contact with: vinegar / lemon and salt and wipe to shine.
Wine does not damage silver and there is no reason (for those who practice it) to leave the wine in the cup until the end of Shabbat.

Very important:
✔Important tip – avoid placing the silverware in the sink with other utensils And thus avoid hitting the utensil
✔Do not use force when cleaning the utensils, especially when cleaning menorahs and candelabra.
✔It is recommended to clean menorahs with the utensil lying down and not standing so that the menorah's reeds reach the work surface and the leg is in the air to prevent bending / breaking the reeds.
✔ Utensils with gold plating (the inside of the cup) or other decorations should not be cleaned with silverware cleaner, but only with a dry cloth.

Cleaning with the baking soda and foil method - does not damage the dish but is not recommended: Rinse removes the natural fat layer of the dish, which causes faster yellowing, and therefore the cleaning operation must be repeated more frequently, unlike professional products that, in addition to cleaning and polishing, leave a protective layer.
