The most important mitzvah on Purim is the reading of the scroll, and everyone must hear the reading of the scroll - men and women. The scroll is read twice: on the night of Purim and the next day. The reading of the scroll is repeated on a daily basis, because every time the observance of the holiday for generations is mentioned in the scroll, it is about days: "And these days are remembered and observed in every generation" (Esther 9, verse 20).
